I Spent a Whole One Year Saturday in Austin Texas

Last Saturday weekend, I spent a whole year in Austin, Texas. The Live Music Capital, as Austin is known for, is my favorite place to be. Incredible food, live music, and Texas-branded micro-brewed beer, coupled with rich and inviting Texas hospitality, makes Austin a favorite attraction. My weekend was jammed with activity. Sat in on a Live taping of America's Got Talent, starring Howard Stern, Live band event SXSW, and a movie with dinner -- Hunger Games -- rounded out my day. Listen in as I tell all about my fabulous one year -- one day Fun-Filled Day!

How to Survive Two Lost Friendships

Last week I lost to back-to-back friendships. The two friendships I had were long and enduring, yet they both ended during the same week. I cherished deeply both friendships. This week’s podcast radio episode is about sleep. You know…that thing we do when we lay down our heads upon our nightly pillows. That thing that many of us don’t get enough of. Oh sure, we take long sleep recovery breaks on the weekend--after work, in the heart of the work week. We try to make up for the lack of sleep, by getting 10 to 12 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Yet during the week, many of us survive (and thrive) on less than four hours sleep per night. What we don’t realize is that sleep is a natural part of living—as much as is eating, walking, talking, thinking, and drinking. I’m one of those that fall into the category of not getting enough sleep...

Seven No-Bull Ways to Make some Cash as an Amateur Writer

Yes you can start a business for under $100 as a writer. Basically there are seven no-bull ways to make some cash as an amateur writer. The seven ways are as follows:

Number one: paid online surveys

Number two: paid article reviewer

Number three: paid magazine writer

Number four: published book author

Number five: Internet researcher

Number six: blogger

And finally number seven: publishing a niche website

Let’s start with the first one--the paid online surveys. There are a lot of paid online survey services on the Internet. Many of them are total rip-offs.  I’ve done lots of research with the different paid online survey companies on the Internet. I did find one that may help us to generate some real dollars. On my website, in the third column, there is a hyperlink text that says make money doing surveys. I’ve tried the service myself, and I do find that it does bring in dollars. While is may sound easy...[read more at www.encouraging-people.com]
